18th Annual Saline Celtic Festival Starts Thursday

The Saline Celtic Festival is this week. Get your tickets now.

Looking for a good time? You'll want to head to the Saline Celtic Festival running July 11-July 13 at Millpond Park.

The event kicks off Thursday night with a Highland Athletics demonstration downtown as part of the Summer Music Series.

The festival will then start full swing Friday at 5:30 when the gates open for Pub in the Park.

A blog on the City of Saline website states there will be "good food, Michigan craft beers, great music and entertainment. The popular Tartan Terrors band will provide the music."

The festival will run all day Saturday with a variety of activities, entertainment and vendors including:

  • Jousting Knights on Horseback
  • Clans and Societies
  • Golf chipping
  • Celtic Survivor
  • Haggis Hurl
  • Textile Arts
  • Shopping
  • Sheep Dog Demonstrations
  • The Wee Folk Area
  • Medieval Reenactments
  • Tug-of-War
  • Millie the Millpond Monster
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 online, or at Saline City Hall and the Saline Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are also available at the gate. Prices are as follows:
  • Tickets purchased at the gate for adults 18 +: $15.00
  • Tickets purchased at the gate for youth ages 13-17: $5.00
  • Tickets purchased at the gate after 8:00 p.m.: $5.00
