Students with the National Honor Society at Saline High School donated 75 backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school students in Detroit.
According to an article in the Saline Reporter, the students delivered the backpacks May 20 to Coleman Young Elementary School. In addition to the backpacks and school supplies, the students also brought food, toys, clothes and snacks for the first-graders.
