"In the Pink," Garden Walk and Flower Show

The Saline Stone and Thistle Garden Club will be hosting a garden walk on Saturday June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Participants will be given guided tours of many local gardens, including the Saline District Library garden, which is maintained by the club.

Tickets are $10 on the day of the walk or $8 in advance. Tickets may be purchased at the following local businesses: Pineapple House, Maureen's Designs, Cobblestone Rose, Saline Flowerland, Nature's Gardens and Ann Arbor Downtown Home and Garden.

Proceeds from the event will be used to honor veterans with a Blue Star Memorial at the Saline District Library and for breast cancer research through St. Joseph Mercy Health System.

There will also be a flower show at the library on Saturday, sponsored by the Sunshine Arrangers Guild. For more information about these events call 734-994-7455.
