Pooh Corner Graduates its Preschoolers
The Preschool Class of 2011 celebrated the end of this year’s journey at Mill Pond Park in Saline.
Seventy graduates in all, out of 105 students at Pooh Corner Preschool, took the symbolic walk across the Bowley Bridge at Mill Pond Park on June 6-7, to earn their certificate of achievement for preschool. Pooh Corner Preschool is in its 36th year as a stepping stone in child development for Saline students ages 3, 4 and 5. Seven different preschool classes celebrated the end of the year with performances, preschool diplomas and snacks. Families attended the class ceremonies, literally scheduled back to back on either side of the park pavilion, to accommodate such a large number of students.
