Tree lighting and holiday parade will be held Friday and Saturday.
Festivities abound in Saline as the holiday season begins and Santa comes to town. On Friday, holiday events kick-off with the annual tree lighting ceremony held in front of KeyBank, located at the corner of Michigan Avenue and North Ann Arbor Street. The lighting will take place at 7 p.m. and offer visitors hot chocolate, cookies and a Christmas carol sing along. The 37th Annual Saline Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade will begin at 5:30 pm on Saturday with “Joy to the World” being the theme this year. The parade will feature professional entertainment, animals, bands, unicyclist, twirlers and more.
