Police Investigate Home Burglary in Webster Township

The following information was supplied by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

On Feb. 8, deputies with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 7400 block of Walsh Road in Webster Township for the report of a home invasion that had occurred sometime during the day. An unknown suspect or suspects forced entry into the home through a screened porch. Officers are investigating the stolen items. Larceny On Feb. 9 deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of Main St. in the village of Dexter in response to a larceny that had occurred overnight. According to police reports, the victim left a 20-foot ladder behind one of the businesses while he was doing maintenance in the area. Police do not know who took the ladder. Thieves Target Cars in Dexter, Scio Township

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating several vehicle larcenies around the area.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is urging residents in the village of Dexter and surrounding townships to lock their vehicle doors and not leave valuable items in plain view. According to Sgt. Keith Flores, deputies have been investigating several vehicle thefts in Dexter Village and Dexter Township since January. On Jan. 27, deputies were dispatched to the 9000 block of Huron Street in Dexter Township for a vehicle larceny complaint. According to police reports, sometime between 2 p.m. on Jan. 26 and 8 a.m. on Jan. 27, an unknown suspect or suspects broke out the window of the victim's van and stole a GPS unit. On Jan. 28 at approximately 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect or suspects entered two vehicles in the 8000 block of Main Street…

Police Report: Lockout Turns to Lockup

Lockout Turns to Lockup A Tipton man who called Saline Police for help with his locked vehicle was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 7:30 p.m., June 5. Police were dispatched to 7700 E. Michigan Ave. for a lockout. They learned the vehicle’s owner was wanted in Lenawee County for failing to appear for hard labor, according to the report. He was arrested and turned over to Lenawee County Sheriff’s deputies near Clinton. Police Find Marijuana on Suspect, in Vehicle A 36-year-old Ann Arbor man was arrested on charges related to narcotic violations shortly before 3 p.m. June 7, according to Saline Police records.
