Dexter's Encore Musical Theatre Kicks-Off Holiday Season with 'Plaid Tidings'
The holiday version of "Forever Plaid" features classic rockabilly music set to a Christmas theme.
The Encore Musical Theatre will present the heartwarming and hilarious holiday show Plaid Tidings beginning Nov. 24. A special holiday edition of Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings marks the return of Sparky, Jinx, Smudge, and Frankie, a teenage singing group who’ve been sent down to earth by Rosemary Clooney to put a little harmony into a discordant world. Plaid Tidings stars Sebastian Gerstner, Rusty Mewha, Kevin Rose, and Brian Thibault. This Plaid-tastic sequel combines all your favorite 1950s songs, and sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites like the Plaid's riotous three minute version of “The Ed Sullivan Show” - this time featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, and a Plaid Caribbean …
