December 8 Marks the Anniversary of John Lennon's Death
It's been 32 years since the tragic murder of one of the most influential musicians in history.
"Help," "Revolution," "A Day In the Life," "Give Peace a Chance," "Imagine." Just a handful of the hundreds of memorable tunes penned and performed by John Lennon, first with the Beatles and later as a soloist. The founder of the Quarrymen (original name of the Beatles) was shot and killed by a crazed gunman at 10:50 p.m. on this date 32 years ago, on Dec. 8, 1980.
