Got A Hidden 'Treasure'? Antiques Roadshow coming to Detroit
PBS's popular prime-time series will kick off the 2014 season in the Detroit area.
Clean out the basement, scour the attic and dip into that storage closet. That excess stuff you've inherited, collected and been holding onto for years may just bring an unexpected payday this summer. "Antiques Roadshow," the wildly popular PBS show where average Americans bring their family heirlooms, keepsakes, and even once-thought-of junk for televised appraisals, is coming to Detroit for one of the eight tour stops nationwide. The June 1 visit will kickoff the 2014 season, which will be the show's 18th. An exact location for the event was not released, but free tickets are available by applying on the show's website for a random drawing.
