Farmers Market and More This Weekend in the Saline Area

1. Saline Farmers Market

  • When: Saturday, July 7, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Where: S. Ann Arbor St., half block south of Michigan Ave., Downtown Saline
  • What: It's summer and the Saline Farmers Market is open with an abundance of hanging baskets, potted plants, flowering shrubs, vegetable and herb plants and bedding plants. Baked goods are plentiful including delicious breads, muffins, cookies, and granola. Specialty items include maple syrup, coffee, cheese and eggs. 

2. DACC Summer Concert Series

  • When: Friday, July 5 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Where: Monument Park, Village of Dexter
  • What: Great music fills the air each Friday night in Monument Park during the Summer Series brought to you by The Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce. This week is Children's Night with Gemini. The juggler will be back tonight! See more info at: http://www.dexterchamber.org/summer-series.html

3. Miles and Ellie

  • When: Friday, July 5 at 8 p.m.
  • Where: Purple Rose Theater, 137 Park St., Chelsea
  • What: Miles and Ellie are two teenagers in love when a youthful misunderstanding breaks them apart. Flash forward 20 years and a disenchanted Ellie has come home for what she expects to be a typical dysfunctional family Thanksgiving. Not long into the family shenanigans, however, Ellie learns that Miles is still in town and carrying a torch for her. Is it possible to get a second chance at your first love? This charming romantic comedy will make you wonder "what if?"
