Who Will Saline Salute in 2011?

The chamber of commerce is seeking nominations for three annual awards.

The Saline Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to nominate local citizens for three awards to be presented at the 22nd Annual Saline Salutes evening this spring.

The Citizen of the Year award goes to a Salinian who has contributed time to the community in a volunteer capacity in the last year.  The Lifetime Achievement award recognizes a Salinian for many years of service to the community. The George A. Anderson Vision Award, named for the man who was Saline Mayor from 1975-78, honors a person who works or serves in a volunteer or advisory capacity to a Saline-area government entity.

The Saline Youth of the Year award will also be awarded during the event.
