U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow has been named grand marshal for the Great Lakes State Fair, taking place at in Novi Aug. 31-Sept. 3

"With agriculture being such a major focus of the fair, we see her involvement as a perfect fit."

Debbie Stabenow he chairs the Agriculture Committee in the U.S Senate, has done a great job of advocating for Michigan's farmers, and managed to get the Farm Bill passed before the end of the legislative session. I call that a politician who is working in the best interests of the families of Michigan. She deserves this honor.
