“The Chamber’s 5K Run/Walk is both a serious race for the athletically inclined and an enjoyable one for those not on the Olympic track team," said Saline Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Art Trapp. "So come and join us for 30 minutes of fun and physical activity.”

According to Trapp, the Summerfest 5K Run/Walk complements Saline’s Summerfest as it introduces a whole new spectrum of individuals to Summerfest and promotes family fitness. The 2011 race attracted 213 runners from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Texas.
