Cleary's Pub Sessions Band Plays Free Concert Thursday

The Saline Summer Music Series continues downtown with a Celtic Flair on the eve of the Saline Celtic Festival.

The Saline Summer Music Series takes on a Celtic flavor Thursday night, the Cleary's Pub Session Band performs a free concert in downtown Saline.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. on South Ann Arbor Street, between Michigan Avenue and Henry Street.

"It's going to be a great way to lead into the Saline Celtic Festival," said Bob Rash, a member of the festival's organizing committee.

Rash said that some of the athletes from the Highland Games will be on hand to promote their events, which take place Saturday at Millpond Park.
