Saline Swim Team Looks for Three-Peat

The Lady Hornets compete in the MHSAA Division 1 swim and dive finals at Eastern Michigan University.

Saline competes Friday and Saturday for its third straight MHSAA Division 1 girls' swimming and diving championship.

The event takes place at Eastern Michigan University's Michael H. Jones Natatorium.

Swimming competition begins at noon Friday with preliminaries. The finals begin at noon Saturday. Cost of admittance is $8. Programs are $4.

Nikki Flynn has the sixth fastest time in the 100-yard freestyle. Kate Rogers clocks in with the 12th fastest time. Maddy Frost has the sixth fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle. Flynn has the 12th fastest time in the same event.

Rogers comes in with the sixth fastest seed in the 200-yard freestyle. Emily Lau has the 10th fastest time in the 100-yard butterfly. Cristina Czyrka has the 12th fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley.  Alex McPherson has the 13th quickest time in the 500-yard freestyle.

Saline is also among the fastest in the 200-yard medley, 200-yard freestyle and 400-yard freestyle relay events.
