When the Spartan football team gathers on their sideline for the season-opening kickoff in tonight's game against Boise State, you'll want to look for a local gridiron hero.

Whether you are in the stands or watching on TV, keep an eye out for #52. That's Taybor Pepper, the 6'-4" freshman long-snapper from Saline. Pepper, the son of Cam and Donna Pepper, was one of the nation's top long-snapper prospects when he played for Saline High School last season, according to the MSU media guide.
