Strong singles play carried the day as the Hornets aced Skyline 7-1 at Saline High School Monday.
In the top flight, Mary Hanna remained unbeaten season, defeating Danielle Mitroi 6-0 and 6-0. Jennifer Ho defeated Megan Smith 6-0 and 6-0 in the second flight. Heather Vogt won her third flight set 6-0 and 6-1. Darby Malloy defeated Sarah Wang, 6-0 and 6-1.
In doubles, Margaret Sheets and Lauren Rasmussen won their set 6-1 and 6-0. Kelsey Pelletier and Julia Prisby won 7-5 and 6-0. Ali Horwood and Syd Bunch won their set 6-2 and 6-0. Stacey Cruz and Alisha Patel lost their set 3-6, 6-0, and 1-6.
