Mulder was also able to boot kickoffs into the beyond endzone for touchbacks, nearly putting the ball through the uprights on occasion. Mike Glennie, head coach of the Hornets last season, said called Mulder an important part of the team after a game last year.

"Think about how many big plays you see on kickoffs. There are a lot of talented returners who never get to touch the ball because of Dylan," said Glennie.
