Hornet Sprinters Make Track and Field Dream Team

Amanda Luurtsema, Quenee' Dale, Alana Hollis and Samantha Richart comprise the 4-by-100 relay team.

And now the Saline Hornet girls 4-by-100 team has been named to the Track and Field Dream Team, as presented by the Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association.

The relay team is made up of Amanda Luurtsema, Quenee' Dale, Alana Hollis and Samantha Richart.

All but Richart, who graduated this spring, should return to the team next year. Luurtsema, an all state runner in the 100 dash, completed her junior year. Dale, who placed third in the state in the 100 hurdles, is a sophomore. Hollis is also a sophomore.
