WCC Offers Basic Studies Review for Graduating High School Seniors

WCC class to help first-year students.

Area high school seniors graduating in 2011 who plan on attending Washtenaw Community College this fall can get a quick review in several important subject areas this month at the college. It’s called the pre-college Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) initiative and runs from 9 a.m. -4 p.m. daily June 27-July 1. The cost is $25.

The goal is to help strengthen the writing and math skills of first-time college students, and to prepare them to meet the requirements for college-level math, writing, and science courses.

The deadline to register is Tuesday, June 21. To enroll, contact Aveia Morris at aveiam@wccnet.edu or 734-677-5164.
