VIDEO: SHS Jazz Band Serves Hot Java Jump

The Saline High School Jazz Band members show their stuff during solos.

Students from and performed at the Saline Jazz Bands Spring Concert May 2.

The show, held at the Ellen Ewing Center for Performing Arts, featured the seventh and eight grade jazz bands from the middle school and the Saline High School Jazz Band.

For the second to last song of the evening, the Saline High School jazz band performed Larry Neeck's Hot Java Jump. Director Nate Lampman invited members of the band to stand up and solo.

On May 19, the Saline Music Parents has its annual golf outing at . Cost is $100 for golf, brunch and prizes. There is a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The price includes a two-for-one golf voucher which can be used at a future date. For more information visit www.salinemusicparents.org.
