District Develops Profile for Saline High School Principal Search

The district will hire a principal without the aid or expense of a consultant.

After receiving feedback from over 150 survey respondents and listening to the voices of students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members at three separate forums, has completed their principal profile and posted the principal position, according to a news release issued by the district Monday night.

Curt Ellis, Executive Director of Human Resources, ompiled the survey results and facilitated the forums.

“I am extremely pleased with the feedback we have received. The attributes our students, teachers and parents are seeking in the next principal at Saline High School align rather well with the attributes our school leaders are looking for," Ellis said. "As a result, I anticipate a very focused and productive search process. The fact that we are able to conduct this process internally without employing the services of an outside search firm will save the district money that can be used for instructional purposes.”
