The district was among more than 680 throughout Metro Detroit to do so following an overnight snowfall, according to clickondetroit.com.

The National Weather Service said snow showers were likely Friday morning, with new accumulation of less than 1 inch and wind gusts as high as 29 miles per hour possible in Saline.
