Report: Joe Palka Hired as Saline High School Assistant Principal, Football Coach
Palka was 59-17 as head
The Toledo Blade is reporting that Joe Palka has been hired to be varsity football coach, assistant athletic director and assistant high school principal at Saline High School.
He is credited with turning around the football program at Toledo Whitmer, where Palka's teams were 59-17 and made the playoffs five of six years, capturing two city titles and a conference title, the Blade reported.
Former Saline varsity football head coach Mike Glennie informed the team last month that he was not returning to his post.
