Good Morning Saline, From the SHS Key Club

Here is your morning greeting for Feb. 23, 2012.

Today's Good Morning Saline greeting was given by members of the Saline High School Key Club.

The Key Club has been supporting the Saline Kiwanis Club's Kids Against Hunger campaign.

On Saturday, volunteers from the Key Club will be among 50 volunteers working to package over 20,000 meals that will be used to fight hunger in regions hit by natural disasters, drought and political turmoil.

Donations can be made to the campaign in the Saline High School cafeteria and other locations.

The Key Club was just launched at Saline High School, but it's well known throughout the world. It is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club has approximately 260,000 members in approximately 5,000 clubs. Key Club is represented in 30 countries, according to the Key Club website.
