Do you sometimes wish you were more prepared to handle potentially threatening situations? There are a lot of statistics out there suggesting how vulnerable we may be.
This course is designed to help women manage and cope with issues that they can control, instead of emphasizing statistical information that has no meaning in a real crisis.
Two segments make up this course. Segment 1 is SHARP Office Scenarios/Social Situations and Segment 2 is PPCT Defensive Tactics/Street Survival/Awareness. You can choose to take both, or pick one or the other. Print off the attached flyer for class details.

This class is led by Ms. Jaime Crawford who is a 2nd Degree Black Belt with the American Taekwondo Association. Ms. Crawford began her training in 2007 at Saline ATA Martial Arts under the instruction of Mr. Paul Teboe. She is a 2-time Top Ten World Qualifier (2010, 2011) and 3-time Michigan State Champion (2009, 2010, 2011).
Along with being an Assistant Instructor Trainer in ATA martial arts, she became certified in the S.H.A.R.P. (Sexual Harassment Assault Rape Prevention) Program in June, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a program developed by PPCT (Pressure Point Control Tactics) Management Systems, Inc. and the ATA.

In addition to her martial arts training, Ms. Crawford is a 13-year veteran of the Ann Arbor Police Department, spending most of her career on midnight road patrol. She has been a Certified PPCT/Defensive Tactics Instructor and AAPD Instructor since February, 2009.
This class is reserved for females 14 years of age or older. Females under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
