Senior Conference 2012

Get ready for Senior Conference 2012. Saline City Council member Brian Marl will visit the senior center. Guests will enjoy lunch (after the program) and listen to presentations on local and state government activities and how they will impact Saline.

Presentations will be made by Saline City Manager Todd Campbell, Clerk Dianne Hill and Assessor Catherine Scull. All ages are invited to attend this seminar, where guests will learn more about property assessing, hardship exemptions, the Oakwood Cemetery expansion, absentee voting, and programs sponsored by the city to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for seniors and provide insurance policies for water mains and sewer lines. State Rep. Mark Ouimet, who will update the crowd on pending legislation at the state level and other state government issues.
