MusIQ Club Piano Class for Grades 1-4

The MusIQ Club program is designed for grades 1 through 4 and uses interactive computer software with electronic piano keyboards to teach students with little or no piano playing experience as well as students who have had prior piano experience. Students progress from level to level each term at their own pace, learning to play the piano with both hands, read music, improvise and compose. They learn the concepts of rhythm, ear training, the musical alphabet as it appears on the grand staff, hand position, strong and weak beats, and scale fingering.  The emphasis is always on having fun as they learn, no matter what the student’s abilities or musical background.
