Learn more about Virtual Learning Academy Consortium
Oakland Schools, in partnership with Calvert Education Services and many local school districts, is offering a Virtual Learning Academy Consortium (VLAC) for students in grades K-8 in Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties whose parents have chosen to guide their education in a home-based learning environment.
You are invited to learn about the world-renowned Calvert curriculum, how the Virtual Learning Academy Consortium program works, the enrollment process and meet representatives.
Once enrolled, you child will be provided, at no cost, the equipment (including computer and internet access) and materials needed to participate in virtual learning using the Calvert curriculum. Your child will also receive a tailored program of learning designed to meet their specific educational needs and goals, and will receive instructional oversight by highly qualified Michigan teachers.
We look forward to meeting you and you child(ren). Space is limited, so please register for the FREE parent information session at www.virtuallearningacademyconsortium.org and go to Events & Webinars. Questions? Call 888.638.8949 or email email@example.com.
