Saline's Longtime City Clerk Announces Her Resignation

Dianne Hill announced her resignation as Saline's City Clerk on Monday.

Saline's city clerk Dianne Hill announced her decision to resign from the city on Monday, according to the Saline Reporter. Hill will be leaving on good terms and will be starting a new job May 13, according to the report.

Hill has worked for the city since 1971 and in June of 2012 was honored as City Clerk of the Year by the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks.

"I've really enjoyed my tenure here,” Hill said in 2012. “It's been wonderful. I'm not ready to leave quite yet. I couldn't have done it without my staff and co-workers. Everybody is there for each other. We help each other. It's a great group of people to work with. I've been very blessed to be able to be here to serve my community."
