City to Consider Staff Contracts, $1.2 Million in Infrastructure Projects

• Council will hear Mary Jo Callan's presentation on the Washtenaw Urban County Program. Council will then consider a motion to adopt a resolution authorizing Mayor Gretchen Driskell to sign a Cooperation Agreement with Washtenaw County to participate in the program. The program could provide federal money for housing.

• Council may consider accepting a $61,000 loan from the Washtenaw County Economic Development and Energy revolving loan fund to pay for the installation of a 12 kilowatt photovoltaic system on the roof of city hall.

• Council will once again consider an offer from citizens offering to reimburse the city for the electrical usage costs associated with the electrical vehicle charging station for two years.

• Council will consider a motion to award $1,264,768 in 2011 street and water main projects to DiPonio Contracting.

• Council will consider staff appointments and contracts for the year 2011-12.

• Council will also hear an update on police dispatch services and outdoor sidewalk cafes.
