A lightning strike damaged a York Township home early Friday morning. There were no injuries.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., the Saline Area Fire Department was dispatched to Pheasant Ridge Lane, off Warner Road, in York Township.

Firefighters arrived and found smoke, but no fire.

“We don’t know exactly where the lightning struck, but it found its way to the electricity. In some parts of the house, the electricity doesn’t work and the electronics are damaged. In other parts, everything is fine,” Hoeft said.
