Two Men Stabbed in Fight

The following information was supplied by the Pittsfield Department of Public Safety. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Two men stabbed each other in an altercation and suffered non-life threatening injuries at a home in Pittsfield Township Sunday night.

According to the police report, a 41-year-old Ann Arbor resident walked into the Washtenaw County Sheriff's department late Sunday, Aug. 4, with a stab wound to his chest. The man told police he was involved in a fight at a home nearby.

Officers went to the home in Arbor Meadows mobile home park and found a second man, 25, from Ypsilanti with a stab wound to his arm.

The report states that both men were questioned and told officers they had been in a fight with each other - each suffering stab wounds as a result.

Both men were taken to the hospital by police for treatment, and the incident remains under investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
