Saline Police Report: Woman Reports Identity Theft

The following incidents are from Saline Police records dated Dec. 5-13. Arrests do not imply conviction.

A Saline woman reported identity fraud after realizing someone had been charging her account $29.99 a month since May, according to a Saline Police report. The 48-year-old woman noticed the charges on her bank account and upon further inspection realized it had been going on for several months. are investigating.

Tires, Rims Stolen From Spring Street Location 

A Saline man told police that four tires and 22-inch rims were taken from the 300 block of Spring Street sometime before Thanksgiving, according to a police report. The rims are worth an estimated $2,000. It is believed that entrance was gained through the back door of the premises, according to the police report.

Man Reports Gas Stolen From Parked Vehicle 

A 47-year-old Nichols Drive man told police he believes someone siphoned about a quarter of a tank of gas from a vehicle parked in front of his house Dec. 9. The man told police that the vehicle was parked with a quarter tank of fuel at 11:30 p.m., a police report said. When his wife drove the vehicle to work the next day, the tank was nearly empty.

Man Arrested For Driving With Suspended License 

A 35-year-old Saline man was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license on Dec. 11. Police stopped a 2012 Mercy Cougar because something obstructed the view of paper plates in the back window, according to a police report. Police found out the driver was operating with a suspended license. He was arrested and the vehicle was impounded. He was released at the scene.

 Police Arrest On Warrant

A 28-year-old North Ann Arbor Street man was arrested Dec. 12 on two warrants for failing to appear, according to a police report. He was transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.

Police Take Custody of Woman Wanted on Warrant 

Police took custody of a 28-year-old Flint woman wanted on failure to appear on a disturbing the peace charge from 2010, a police report said. The woman was arrested by Davison Township Police. Police met Davison police at U.S. 23 and M-59 to take custody of the woman, who was transported to the Washtenaw County Jail.
