Police: Hit and Run Crash in York

Washtenaw County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a hit and run vehicle crash that occurred in the 130000 block of Sanford Road in York Township, according to a release from the law enforcement agency.

The victim called police after hearing a loud crashing noise from outside their home at about 8 p.m., Jan. 31, according to the report. The victim discovered someone had struck their car parked in the driveway, forcing it into the garage door. Both the vehicle and garage door were damaged, according to the report.

According to police, the suspect vehicle was a silver or light gray extended cab small pickup truck.
