Police Continue to Investigate Saline Bank Robbery
With the suspects believed to be out of the area, police focused on gathering evidence from the crime scene.
Two suspects remain on the loose following a bank robbery in Saline Friday morning.
Just before 11 a.m. two men held up the at 1301 E. Michigan Ave., taking with them an undetermined amount of cash, according to a press release issued by the . A weapon was not seen during the incident, according to police.
Suspects fled the scene in a brown or burgundy older model four-door that Saline Police officers located behind in the same shopping center. Police believe the suspects ditched the vehicle, which was stolen from Van Buren Township, and fled in another vehicle waiting for them. The original vehicle was taken to a crime lab for further investigation.

Saline Police spent the day collecting evidence in and around the bank. They were joined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Michigan State Police.

The two male suspects were described as 5-feet-10-inches tall, wearing facial coverings and dark-hooded sweatshirts. One of the men had facial hair, according to the report.
