Pittsfield Police: Investigation Reveals Information About Home Invasion Suspects
A 19-year-old Pines of Lake Forest told police he was tied up as four men robbed his home.
In a news release issued Tuesday evening, Pittsfield Township Police said the investigation into Monday's Pines of Lake Forest home invasion has revealed more information about the suspects.
On Monday, a 19-year-old resident on the 4100 block of Timber Ridge Drive told police that four males entered his home through a rear glass door, revealed a knife, tied him up and stole items from the residence, according to a report released Monday.
On Tuesday, Pittsfield Township Police said the investigation has revealed more information about the suspects. The youngest of the four subjects is age 30-35, according to police. The other three subjects were in their late 40s to early 50s, according to the release. All of the subjects were described as approximately 6 feet tall with medium builds, according to the report. Three of the men were wearing black jackets, and a fourth was wearing a navy jacket, according to the report, and all four men were wearing University of Michigan hats.

The investigation also revealed that a white Dodge Charger with the word "Charger" on the windshield was seen in the area prior to the incident, according to the report, which also noted that a blue Chevy TrailBlazer may be related to the incident.
The Pittsfield Township Police detective bureau continues to investigate.
