Carpenter Road Comerica Bank Held Up By Armed Robber

The incident is being investigated by Pittsfield Township Police detectives.

An armed robber held up Comerica Bank (2795 Carpenter Rd., Pittsfield Twp.) at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to Pittsfield Township police.

According to the , the suspect entered the bank brandishing a firearm and ordered the clerk to hand over cash. The clerk handed money to the suspect, who fled the area. 

A University of Michigan K-9 unit assisted in the search but the suspect was not located, according to police. The incident is being investigated by the Pittsfield Township Police Department detective bureau.

The suspect was described as 5’6-5’8 male. He was wearing a dark, blue hooded sweatshirt and a flesh-tone mask with a mustache.
