Robert Stoll Was A 'Gentlemen in Word and Deed'

Funeral Services are at 1 p.m. Friday at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home.

Robert G. Stoll, age 99, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2012, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Saline.

He was born on October 27, 1912 in Ann Arbor, the son of George Vincent and Magdalene (Rentschler) Stoll. On October 17, 1937 in Bowling Green, OH, he married Laura Belle Schrader and she preceded him in death on March 21, 2006.

During his life Robert worked for Preston Tucker, Buhr Machine Tool, American Broach, and later retired from Aeroquip Co.

Survivors include a daughter Marilyn J. (Jim Woods) Sibson, grandchildren Lonnie (Lisa) Sibson, Troy (Jana) Sibson, two great-grandchildren Rhiannon and Reed, a sister-in-law Phyllis Stoll, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Stoll.

Robert was a true gentleman in word and deed. He was a wonderful and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline, with the Rev. Laura Speiran, officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in Saline following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Saline Evangelical Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home where friends may begin calling on Thursday, July 26, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday, July 27, 2012, from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. To leave a memory, for more information or for directions please visit www.rbfhsaline.com.
