Obituary: Doris Marie Rankin

Doris Marie Rankin, age 87, passed away on April 13, 2012, at the Saline Evangelical Home.

She was born July 10, 1924, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Robert E. and Vera (Bragg) Goodin.

Doris was a member of the Milan Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #106. Survivors include one son Charles L. (Mary Ann) Rankin of Saline, MI, grandchildren Timothy (Shelley) Rankin, and Malissa (Duane) Guenther. Other survivors include four great-grandchildren Codie, Hannah, William, and Zachary. Doris was the last of eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at 11 at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline with Rev. Beth Foster, officiating. Burial will follow at the Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
