Saline Indoor Farmers Market - just two weeks left indoors

Spring greens are in and an abundance of fresh local food is available.

Winter is winding down and Spring is in the air.  Our indoor Farmers Market has just two Saturdays left before we move outdoors and downtown.

The market still has an abundance to choose from including Spring lettuce, chard, kale, Jerusalem artichokes and other greens.  The baked goods are plentiful and yummy as well as fresh eggs, fresh coffee beans, local cheese, maple syrup, honey, meat, popcorn, specialty items and lots of hand-made items.

Everyone at the market has enjoyed the indoor venue throughout the Winter and many of the same vendors will bring their homegrown produce, plants, flowers, baked goods, hand-made items and so much more to the outdoor markets.

Indoor Farmers Market is at Liberty School, 7265 Saline Ann Arbor Rd. and is open from 9am-noon, Saturdays through April 27.

The outdoor Farmers Market is located downtown on S. Ann Arbor Street, 1/2 block south of Michigan Ave. and is open from 8am-noon, every Saturday, May 4 through October 26.

Then in June the Tuesday Farmers Market is set up in the parking lot behind the Library, 555 N. Maple Rd. and is open every Tuesday from 3pm-7pm, June 4 through September 24.

We all know how important it is to eat fresh fruits and veggies and our vendors have the best - it's local and it's fresh.  The flowers are going to be beautiful this year and there will be so much from which to choose.

So, for two more weeks visit the indoor Farmers Market at Liberty School and then visit the Farmers Market downtown starting in May.
