$4,000 in Scholarships Up for Grabs in Miss Saline Pageant

Outstanding young Saline women, ages 16-21, are eligible to enter the annual Miss Saline Pageant contest, which is part of the Saline Community Fair. 

“Miss Saline” and her court will receive more than $4,000 in scholarships, savings bonds and gifts donated by area merchants. To quality for this community leadership experience, contestants must participate in an interview, basic modeling, evening gown competition and display poise during a question-and-answer session.

Contest entrants must be 16 years of age by Aug. 1, 2012.  Entries due by Aug. 1, 2012.

Preliminary judging takes place Aug. 20. The pageant takes place Aug. 28.

The Saline Community Fair takes place Aug. 28-Sept. 3.
