Michigan Postcards: Happy Halloween!

We asked for your cute kid halloween costumes, and you responded. Here are just some of the photos you sent in. There's still time to send more!

Which kid in America has the most creative Halloween costume in the pumpkin patch? That's what we want to find out with your photos and the help of celebrity judge Heidi Klum, who will select the Grand Prize winner. So far, Michigan Patch readers have submitted dozens of photos to our 29 Patch sites.

Today's Michigan Postcard is a celebration of all those photos so far.

We hope you won't stop sharing! There's still time: The deadline for the costume isn't until 9 tonight. So have that camera ready when the kids get dressed up, and upload a photo to Patch before they dig into the candy.

The Grand Prize? Patch will whisk the winner to New York or Los Angeles for a three day, two night trip for two that includes a meet and greet with Heidi, plus a donation of $1,031 (get it? 10-31 for Halloween!) to a local charity of the winner's choice. Nine runners-up will also get a $1,031 donation from Patch to a local charity of their choice.

Entering is easy. Just upload a photo of your child, 12 years of age or younger, in his or her Halloween costume to the photo gallery at your local Patch site by clicking on "add your photos." Entries must be made by the parent or legal guardian of the child photographed. Please include the with child’s name, the submitter's name and local charity of choice. .
