Good Morning Saline From Stan Poet, 2012 Chamber Community Spirit Award Winner

Today's greeting is one of five Saline-area residents who will be honored at Saline Salutes Friday.

Today's Good Morning Saline greeting is from Stan Poet, who will be recognized Friday night with the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce Community Spirit Award.

Poet recently retired after 27 years of managing the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds, which brought millions of people to the Saline area over his term.

He is one of several people who will be honored during the event, to be held 5:30 to 9 p.m., Friday, April 13 at .

The annual event, sponsored by the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce, also honors Youth of the Year, , Citizen of the Year , the George A. Anderson Vision Awardee Cindy Czubko, and Lifetime Achievement Award winner .

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students. After April 6, tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students. Dinner will be served by the Saline High School Culinary Arts students.
