Windmill Tour in Saline

A bus with an on-board guide will take you from the depot museum to the Rentschler Farm 1265 E. Michigan Ave. and to the Braun Farm 1955 Bemis Road, all within five miles. You will view five windmills of various time periods, an Eclipse, an Aeromotor, a Saline Standard, an unnamed antique farm windmill, and a new power generating wheel. Visitors can also bike, jog, or drive their own car from one site to another. The depot and the farm buildings will be open, as well as the farm gift shop. The first 100 children will receive a pinwheel and a stick candy at the farm. An ongoing Sing-A-Long with old time songs will take place in the upper hay barn. Come one, come all. This is FREE.
