Third Annual Coach Nick Belanger Assist Fund Golf and Washers Outing

5, 2014 Saline, MI – The third annual Coach Nick Belanger Assist Fund Golf and
Washers Outing is scheduled for Friday June 13, 2014.  The Outing
will be held at Brookside Golf Course in Saline, Michigan.  Registration
and continental breakfast begins at 8:30, golf shotgun start begins at
10am.  Entry fee is $100 per golfer which includes 18 holes of golf with
cart, range balls, continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, program and auction.  
Washer Tournament begins at 1:00pm and dinner and auction at 4:00pm. 

Proceeds
from this event will go to The Coach Nick Belanger Assist Fund.  This fund
was established from the Nick Belanger Memorial Fund which began when Nick
passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in January of 2012 at the age of
26.  Nick was a young man who had a passion for all sports and
loved to play and coach.  In hockey, Nick's passion, players are
awarded an “assist” when they pass the puck to a teammate who then scores a
goal.

The
Assist Fund is designed to celebrate Nick’s generous spirit, providing
assistance to those struggling with life challenges or trying to afford either
educational or activity-related expenses by "assisting" to allow
everyone to be part of a team in life.
