Saline New Horizons Band Looking for Musicians and Potential Musicians

Saline has a very active New Horizons Band, serving the Saline area, Saline School Communities and Washtenaw County.  The Saline New Horizons Band 2013 is resuming practice for a new season of Music, Fun, and Community Service.  The Ban invites all who play instruments, or would like to learn to play to join them this season.

Practice is held twice a week, Tuesday from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM in the Band Room at Liberty School in Salinie. Come and join the fun and get reconnected with the kid and music inside of you  For more information contact us at salinenewhorizonsband@gmail.com or visit our Website at www.salinenewhorizonsband.org

The Saline New Horizons Band was organized in 2004 by Dr. Joseph and Mary Labuta to bring the experience of music to adults in the Saline area.  Were you one of the estimated 15 to 20 percent of Americans who participated in elementary and/or high school music programs?  Many adults would like an opportunity to learn music in a group setting similar to that offered in schools, but the last entry point in most cases was elementary school.  The Saline New Horizons Music programs provide a similar path to music making for adults. What makes Saline New Horizons Band special is the opportunity for people to take part in music who have never played...or who haven't played in many years.  Why not come and experience the fun with the Saline New Horizons Band?
