B-17 & B-25 WWII Bomber Buffing Party!

The Yankee Air Museum is inviting everyone to its 19th Annual Bomber
Buffing. Our B-17G Flying Fortress and our B-25D Mitchell need their
aluminum skins polished to a high gloss before they fly into the 2014
airshow season.

This free event is for people of all ages. Because these aircraft fly
from May to October, this is the public's chance to get up close to
these beautifully restored WWII aircraft.

Those wishing to help with the buffing are encouraged to bring plenty
of clean, soft rags.  Mother's Polishes, Waxes and Cleaners has donated
plenty of aluminum polish for us to use. The Yankee Air Museum will
provide pizza.

The Museum's gift shop will be open and special membership incentives
are planned for the day. If you sign up for a membership at this event,
you will be invited inside the B-17 for a free, cockpit photo. You will
also receive a ticket to our THUNDER OVER MICHIGAN airshow in August
that will feature the USAF Thunderbirds and the Army's Golden Knights.

For further information call our Museum at 734-483-4030 or visit our website at: www.yankeeairmuseum.org. To see a video of our B-17 and B-25 in flight, search for "Where Heroes Have Flown" on YouTube.
