What Are the Best Sledding Hills in the Saline Area?

CBS Detroit posted a list of the best sledding hills in the metro area and Ypsilanti's Rolling Hills Park was on the list.

Nothing says "snow day" like gathering up the kids and heading to the nearest sledding hill for hours of winter fun.

Ypsilanti's Rolling Hills Park was included on CBS Detroit's recent list of the best sledding hills in metro Detroit, boasting its 275 drop and fenced in paths to climb back up the hill.

ArborWiki says the best sledding hill in Saline is at Mill Pond Park.

Other nearby hills on the CBS list include Northville's Cass Benton Park on Hines Drive between Six and Seven Mile Roads and Middlebelt Hill in Westland, on Hines Drive near Middlebelt Road.

The north end of Henne Field is a safe place for toddlers to sled without having to worry about being run over by older, more rambunctious children. Parking is available at the end of Owens Circle or the larger lot on E Bennett St. You ae also close to downtown for that hot chocolate when the youngsters are ready to go.

There is a hill at the Rec Center between the tennis courts and the softball fields. It is best for younger kids.
