Well-behaved "Labrabull" needs a home

Catie came to the Humane Society of Huron Valley as a stray.

Catie is a one-year-old, black and white lovable Labrabull - a Labrador and pit bull mix. Ask any staff or volunteer at the Humane Society of Huron Valley who is the best behaved dog we have right now in our shelter and the answer will be -  Catie. She has learned so much since she first came to us as a stray back in early December. Maybe it's because she's a large dog, or maybe because she is part pit bull that people keep passing her up, but we want to go on the record and let everyone know that we all love Catie and think she is a gem.

Catie listens to commands and is very eager to please. In fact, Catie has been part of our "Head Start" dog training program and has learned many basic manners. She also likes other dogs and is often seen having play-dates with other shelter dogs. Catie is also very smart and is our official toy tester! Please take a second look at Catie and visit with her. She will make a great family dog and has so much love to offer. The Humane Society of Huron Valley, located at 3100 Cherry Hill Rd., Ann Arbor, is open daily from noon to 6 pm for adoptions.
